A bald eagle at Shohola Marsh Reservoir, one of only two eagle release sites in Pennsylvania during the recovery program in the 1980s. With financial support from the Federal Endangered Species Fund and the Richard King Mellon Foundation, the Pennsylvania Game Commission imported young bald eagles from Canada and transferred them to Shohola.
