Members of the Orange County Pilots Association OCPA friom KMGJ) showed their gratitude to Air Traffic Controllers at Stewart Airport (KSWF) and Hudson Valley Regional Airport (KPOU) when they dropped off Treats for the Towers on December 11th. “It was great to put faces to the voices we hear on the radio and see just how much goes into keeping our skies safe,” said OCPA President Barry LoPierre. Michael Edelstein shared this aerial photo of the Dutchess Quarry on Christmas Eve. The quarry is located in the Town of Goshen. Advocates for the property’s preservation said these caves are Orange County’s most important archaeological treasure, they are one of the oldest sites of prehistoric human habitation and activity east of the Mississippi River and their use has been dated back to between 12,400 to 15,000 years ago.
