The Kiwanis Club of Chester offers its thanks for the community’s support

On March 7, 2025, the Kiwanis Club of Chester held its annual Fish & Chips fundraising event at the Chester Academy. Approximately 630 Fish Dinners were served to members of the Chester Community and beyond.

Tastefully British, our caterer out of Bloomfield, N.J., once again did a great job getting the fish and chips cooked so that a smooth and hot delivery could be made to both dining in and dining out.

The Chester Academy Key Club students served the dinners and the Chester Cub Scouts and their families assisted with our raffle ticket sales.

The Kiwanis Club of Chester is very thankful to those in the Chester community and beyond for their support for this event.

After a long cold winter, the community is excited to be together and share a delicious meal, good conversation, and fellowship. By supporting this effort, you help Kiwanis share goodwill throughout the community through our many programs and outreach to the children in our area.

We would also like to thank our sponsors, The Monroe Diner, Shoprite of Chester and Hersco of Middletown (Hersey’s Ice Cream) for their generous donations to this event. We are grateful to have these partners in our community.

Please look for us next year before the First Friday in Lent 2026 (Feb. 20). For further information about Kiwanis and our many fundraisers and service projects, please email us at ChesterNYKiwanis@gmail.com
