Supervisor Doug Bloomfield has presented another budget to Goshen which includes more pay increases for the Board while the rest of the town suffers through a shocking lack of investment.
The Supervisor has raised his own salary by more than 63% over the last four years, but his budgets have cut police pay by 6.6%, and parks and recreation funding has actually decreased by 3% since 2019.
Goshen residents want to invest in our town, in our parks and in our dedicated civil servants, but we’ve been presented with another austerity budget that only invests in our town’s politicians.
The Board should vote no.
