Linda Mabie stood for everything that Shop Local should really mean.
I was one of her first customers and she has been my incredibly reliable “go to” printer and binder for 34 years.
As the years progressed, her impeccable taste showed in the beautiful jewelry and clothing items she sold.
But, mostly, Linda was the most reliable person on earth and she would always get things done when she promised to do so. A rare trait in modern America.
Linda remains a prominent member of our community. Her selfless philanthropy is well-known to anyone who pays attention to your pages and to those she has quietly helped.
While Linda’s retirement is certainly well-deserved, the closing of her store will leave a gaping hole in downtown Goshen, one impossible to fill.
Thank you, Linda, from all of us you assisted in so many ways for so many years.
