New Orange Regional Medical Center welcomes its first baby

Middletown — Isabella Ann, daughter of Bridget Van Leuven and James Maillet of Otisville, was the first baby born at the Rowley Family Birthing Center at the New Orange Regional Medical Center on Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at 10:10 a.m. The new family gained immediate notoriety amongst the staff as they entered the new facility just after 5 a.m. to a clapping and cheering crowd of employees. Isabella Ann, who weighed in at seven pounds, 14 ounces, will have a decorative patio paving stone engraved in her honor. The paving stone will be located on the Reflections Terrace, an outdoor patio area adjacent to the medical center’s cafeteria. The Rowley Family Birthing Center staff also presented the proud parents with a large gift basket to help welcome Isabella Ann.
