Orange County. She brings decades of experience and expertise in the fields of behavioral health and human services.
Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan & Ulster recently announced that Anna Villani has been named chief operating officer (COO) of the not-for-profit behavioral health and human service agency, where she will oversee daily operations — including staffing, quality assurance, budgeting and program expansion — while working in close collaboration with the CEO and board of directors.
“It’s my pleasure to welcome Anna to Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan & Ulster,” said Shannon Kelly, CEO of the organization. “As a licensed clinical social worker, she brings to us decades of experience and expertise in the fields of behavioral health and human services. Her most recent position as senior administrative director for substance use disorder treatment programming at Bellevue Hospital is especially valuable to this agency as we continue to be on the frontlines in the battle against the disease of addiction.”
In her role at Bellevue, Villani served as administrator for the hospital’s NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports licensed programs. She managed an $11.6 million operating budget, with a total combined $1 million in grant money, was responsible for the environment of care and patient experience and worked to ensure staff had the tools and support necessary for self-care in a challenging work environment.
