ShopRite donates to Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley

— ShopRite representatives recently presented a $131,900 donation to Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley, which will help support the charity organization’s mission to ensure that every child who qualifies for Make-A-Wish services is granted his or her fondest wish.
The money — which will help Make-A-Wish grant wishes for up to 18 children — was raised during an annual fundraising campaign hosted at 26 participating stores in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester counties in New York in April.
Since its 1986 inception, Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley has granted the wishes of more than 2,700 children in the Hudson Valley region. To date, ShopRite has raised over $230,000 for Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley.
ShopRite stores that participated in the fundraiser include:
Orange County: Chester, Dolson Avenue in Middletown, Monroe, Montgomery, Newburgh, Vails Gate, Warwick, and Wallkill
Putnam County: Carmel
Sullivan County: Liberty and Monticello
Ulster County: Ellenville, Kingston, and New Paltz
Westchester County: Bedford, Croton, Greenway Plaza in Yonkers, Peekskill in Cortlandt, New Rochelle, Scarsdale, Thornwood, Tuckahoe in Yonkers, White Plains
Dutchess County: ShopRite Fishkill, LaGrangeville, and Poughkeepsie
