Senate District 39. Skoufis announces upcoming constituent town hall schedule
Senator James Skoufis (D-Hudson Valley) will launch his annual “Skoufis On Your Street’’ town hall series later this month, stopping in locally owned small businesses throughout his district to give residents the opportunity to speak with Skoufis in their own neighborhood, and ensuring their voices and priorities are represented in Albany.
The first stop on his town hall tour will be Ms. Fairfax, a restaurant and bar located at 105 Liberty Street, Newburgh.
The event will be held on Wednesday, July 28 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm on the restaurant’s rear exterior patio.
“Hearing from district residents about the issues that matter most to them directly impacts the work I do each day,” Skoufis said. “It’s my pleasure to bring our office closer to our constituents, and to be as accessible a representative as possible for those I serve. Our district deserves nothing less.”
“Skoufis On Your Street” is free to attend with no registration required, but attendees are encouraged to support the host businesses if they’re able.
