School budget votes and Board of Education elections: Chester and Goshen
School district residents will vote exclusively via absentee ballot. All absentee ballots must be submitted to the school district’s clerk office by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9.

Proposed Budget: $29,613,452
Spending Increase: $856,656/ 2.98 percent
Tax Levy Decrease: - $1,001/- 0.01 percent

Additional Propositions: Eight school buses - $680,999 (Sixty percent of this cost will be paid by state aid; the remainder will be bonded over five years beginning in 2021-2022.)
