Middletown Medical has announced the addition of plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Albert. Albert will be performing reconstructive surgeries and cosmetic procedures.
Albert earned his bachelor of arts from the University of Pennsylvania, master of arts from Boston University School of Medicine, and his doctorate from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He completed his aesthetic plastic surgery fellowship at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, and was a plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery resident and chief resident in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
“We are very excited to be able to expand our service offerings with the addition of our first plastic surgeon,” said Melissa Wolff, the medical group’s marketing director and physician recruiter. “Our goal is to provide the services that will best serve our community, and Dr. Albert will certainly help us do that.”
Since completing his education, Albert has served on multiple committees, co-authored several articles published in peer-reviewed publications, and shared his expertise through many scientific and academic presentations, all focused on advancing the field of plastic surgery. He has also shared his surgical talents with those in need during three separate surgical mission trips to Ecuador and Peru.
Albert was recently invited as a guest of Sirius XM Radio’s Doctor Radio to discuss aesthetic plastic surgery and was the first assistant for live surgery with Daniel Del Vecchio, M.D. at the 51st annual Baker Gordon Symposium on Cosmetic Surgery.
