Next, get set for a spellbinding night of tricks and treats at the annual Pennings Farm Market Halloween Costume Party on Halloween night.
The 21 and over Halloween party begins at 7 p.m. at Pennings Farm Market, 161 State Route 94 in Warwick.
The bar at Pennings Farm Market offers a large selection of beers on tap in constant rotation, including those that use fall produce and have festive names.
Alec Diltz, the Bar and music manager, stirs up the cauldron when he creates the craft beer menu.
Diltz takes pride in managing the beers, hard cider and wine available at Pennings Pub especially when holidays allow for more creative choices.
“Our Halloween line-up of brews is meant to conjure up the soul of the season with pumpkin, spices as well as heavy German malts,” Diltz said. “Craft beer lovers can expect Brooklyn Brewing’s Post Road Pumpkin and their Oktoberfest, Unkle Dunkel Octoberfest by Newburgh Brewing, the seasonal releases of Glenmere Brewing’s Wicked Witch Stout and Pennings Farm Cidery Pumpkin Cider all to be on tap at the costume party.”
There’s also a chance to hit the dance floor with the mixed sounds of DJ Skyhook’s dance list including Soul, Pop, Funk, Hip Hop and Top 40. Music begins at 8 p.m., and lasting right through the witching hour of midnight.
Contestants dressed in costume will be judged on creativity, presentation and originality.
