Orange Regional expands with new cancer center, office building
MIDDLETOWN — Orange Regional Medical Center has completed a new office building and cancer center on its main campus in Middletown.
Most outpatient services provided off-campus will move into the new buildings on the 73-acre campus in Middletown. Opened on Sept. 26, the two buildings cost $99 million.
Both the office building and the Spagnoli Family Cancer Center will be "patient-centered healing environments," with advanced technology and "amenities" for patients and families, says Orange Regional.
Eight hundred parking spaces have been added. The ORMC Foundation has funded a fitness trail, with outdoor exercise stations, as part of the $3.3 million “The Future is Orange” campaign, which is helping to fund the expansion. The walking and exercise path can be used by patients, families, and staff.
The Foundation also funded a viewing garden for infusion patients at the entrance of the new cancer center.
The single-story Spagnoli Family Cancer Center will be attached to the main hospital building. For more information, visit www.ormc.org.
