CHESTER — Family and friends celebrated the achievement of the Class of 2016 at graduation ceremonies held at the Chester Academy on Thursday evening, June 23.
The class valedictorian is Mackenzie Kolman, and the salutatorian is Stephanie Dudgeon.
James Thonus of the Class of 2003 returned to deliver the Commencement Address. Principal Denis Petrilak presented awards to the new graduates, while Frank Sambets, the school board president, presented their diplomas.
