The homing pigeon that settled in at Tom and Cindy Becker's Mountain View farm in Chester has taken flight. He rejuvenated himself, thanks to Cindy's including a teaspoon of Gatorade in his water to restore his electrolytes. Now a stick bug six inches long has landed at the farm. Cindy said they have one every year. This one dined kale from their garden. Stick bugs are pets, but live a very short time. -- By Frances Ruth Harris
