High school students honored as 'Goshen Greats'









GOSHEN — On Feb. 12, the Goshen High School honored nine students for their accomplishments in a specific subject area. The Goshen Greats Program recognizes the unique achievements of one student from each major discipline each quarter. Students are nominated by their teachers for accomplishments that are benchmarks in their academic career or demonstrate school leadership.
The Goshen Greats and their families were invited to a breakfast held in the caféteria in their honor, where they were given certificates of achievement. The Goshen Greats are:
Peyton Atkins, nominated by math teacher Sarah Barquero for her accomplishments in Algebra 2/Trigonometry Honors
Matthew Biagi, nominated by English teacher Dr. Evelyn Schneider for his accomplishments in English
Kacie Borisewich, nominated by art teacher Christopher Tucci for her participation in Photography 1
Lauren Colella, nominated by French teacher Jeri Krish for her accomplishments in French 2
Emma Cummings, nominated by art teacher Ruth Roebuck for her accomplishments in Ceramics
Khuran Jefferson, nominated by Academic Intervention Services teacher Robin Scott for his accomplishments in Academic Intervention Services
Nina Pasquini, nominated by science teacher Elizabeth Joseph for her accomplishments in Biology Honors
John Swift, nominated by social studies teacher Marie Jane Panzer for his accomplishments in World History 9 Honors
