Goshen has a new map which includes places to eat and drink, things to do, and places to stay. The map was designed by Kirby Salvador, who designed a hand-drawn map for Orange County Tourism, a few years ago.
A few months ago, the Goshen Chamber of Commerce reached out to downtown eateries to find out the interest level of putting together a map. Business owners were supportive. The final version of the map includes more than 20 places to eat in Goshen, four places to stay and so much to do.
There was room on the map for a few advertisements which helped offset the cost of the printing. LEGOLAND, Griffith Olivero Realtors, Delancey’s Bar and Restaurant, Atlas Security Services and Not Just Bagels placed advertisements.
After a few months of revision, 5,000 copies of the map arrived at the Goshen Chamber of Commerce office in downtown Goshen. The map will be available to tourists visiting the area, local businesses and Goshen residents.
You can pick up a copy of the map at the Goshen Farmer’s Market on Friday, the GCOC office at the Music Hall or a downtown eatery.
