Illuminate Goshen has announced that this year’s Painted Trotters of Goshen Auction will be held on Friday, Oct. 15, at Delancey’s Restaurant from 6 to 8 p.m.
Residents and art patrons can join the event and participate in a silent auction to bid on their favorite horse works of art. There is no admission fee. Anyone can attend. Cash bar will be available and guests are encouraged to order some of Delancey’s dinner options.
The auction sheets will be pulled and bidding will end at 8 p.m. sharp.
The Painted Trotters of Goshen is a collaboration between Illuminate Goshen and the Goshen Art League.
“Each year these artists continue to outdo themselves,” Art League President Robb Gomulka said. “The Goshen Art League is thrilled to be a part of this event.”
Illuminate Goshen President Kyle Roddey was equally excited by this year’s silent auction.
“We are encouraging Goshen residents to join us to see all the painted trotters together in one location one final time,” Roddy said in the press release detailing the auction. “You can bid on your favorite horse (or horses) and enjoy some great food while you’re at it.”
The Illuminate Goshen Board of Directors also wants to publicly thank and acknowledge the hard work of outgoing President Carly Glass. “Carly has been a tireless supporter of the arts in Goshen and this year’s Painted Trotter’s Project would not have happened without her hard work and tenacity,” the director said. “Thank you, Carly.”
