Goshen. Italian American Club to hold ‘a little taste of Italy’ on Oct. 16

The Central Orange County Italian-American Association will hold a “A little taste of Italy” at its clubhouse parking lot at 3316 Route 207 in Goshen on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Lots of delicious food will be provided by Potenza Catering, including wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, those famous sausage and pepper heroes found at the Great American Weekend, zeppole, Italian ices and dessert. Stay and visit for a while or take it to go.
Potenza will be bringing its custom-built Forza Forni Pizza Mobile Unit, equipped with a Neapolitan imported Pavesi wood oven, fully equipped with refrigeration, electricity and a prep station.
The money raised by the event goes back into the community via the Central Orange County Italian-American Foundation and funds charitable causes in the community for veterans’ families, the House on the Hill and scholarships awarded every year to high school seniors in Orange County.
In the past, money was raised at The Great American Weekend, but that opportunity was cancelled because of COVID-19 Here’s a chance to fund worthy causes and enjoy great Italian food at the same time.
