Goshen. Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame’s Holiday Concert canceled
The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame’s Holiday Concert scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 9, has been canceled due to the Goshen School District’s Covid-19 restrictions and mandates.
The Museum Gift Shop remains open for holiday shopping.
The Harness Racing Museum also is a drop site for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s “Toys for Tots.” The program which distributes toys to needy children in the Hudson Valley, distributed 75,784 toys to 21,339 children in 2020.
New, unwrapped toys can be dropped in the museum’s main lobby Monday through Friday, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. until Friday, Dec. 10. The gift shop has a large selection of children’s gifts including books, games and toy horses, making it easy to be bring holiday cheer to children in need.
The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, located at 240 Main St. in Goshen, is currently open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, and will close at 1 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
