The sun shone brightly this Mother’s Day. The residents at Sapphire Nursing Home in Goshen may have be stuck inside but their personal windows faced the gorgeous weather. Rabbi Meir and Rivkie Borenstein of Orange County from Goshen, together with other volunteers, painted their windows with flowers, rainbows and positive messages. The residents watched, waved and even spoke through the windows to the children as they painted. "Hard to find ways in this new life of social distancing to be connected and spread love but we found a way," the rabbi said.
