With a hint of autumn in the air, it’s a great time for relaxing outdoors, and what would make it a perfect day? Listening to great live music, of course.
Come to Church Park on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 2 p.m. to hear the wonderful music provided by the Powers and Hall Duo.
Jonathan Hall, music director and organist at the First Presbyterian Church, plays keyboard and Bill Powers plays a variety of woodwind instruments with amazing versatility.
Playing selections from J.S. Bach to Scott Joplin, the Powers and Hall musical ability is outstanding.
The First Presbyterian Church is celebrating it 300th birthday in 2020, and this concert is part of a celebration of the church and its 300 years in the heart of the Village of Goshen.
The concert is free, so bring your chair or blanket, make yourself comfortable and enjoy the fall season while listening to outstanding music, honoring hope and joy for the future.
There’s plenty of room at Church Park, located on church property on Main Street in Goshen; social distancing is expected.
