Goshen Girl Scout Troop 804 recently had a farm tour experience they’ll never forget.
Christine Cullen Schepps shared the following report:
“Recently, my daughter’s Girl Scout troop had the opportunity to take a tour of Banbury Cross Farm in Goshen courtesy of the owner Sue Cornell. I can’t say enough about how awesome Sue and Neil were with teaching the girls all about farm life.
“During the tour,” Cullen Schepps continued, “they got to feed the turkeys and ducks, help bring the sheep into the pasture, collect the chicken eggs and, their favorite, feeding the horses a treat.
“They were given a very hands-on experience and learned so much,” she added. “We’re so lucky to have this local farm in our town. They sell their locally raised grass-fed meat and organic chicken eggs in their store as well. Check their website for store hours. Thanks, Sue and Neil. We appreciate all the time and effort you put into making the girls’ Banbury Cross Farm tour an experience they’ll never forget.”
