Orange County Distillery has just announced their brand new vodka – Jimmy Sturr Vodka named after Florida, N.Y., resident and famed bandleader Jimmy Sturr, winner of 18 Grammy Awards.
The vodka is available at all local liquor stores as well as at many restaurants. The label shows the logo of “Sturr’d, Not Shaken,” a play on the catchphrase of Ian Fleming’s fictional British Secret Service agent James Bond to describe his preference for the preparation of his martini cocktail.
Throughout the years, Sturr has represented many national brands as their spokesperson, including Mrs. T’s Pierogies, Budweiser, Jimmy Sturr Kielbasa and others.
