CUFSD announces new technology director
Chester. Daniel Svarczkopf will take over for Ed Spence who retired this year.
The Chester Union Free School District recently announced that Daniel Svarczkopf has been selected as the district’s new director of data and technology management.
According to the school district, Svarczkopf has experience in cybersecurity, network configuration, data compliance and instructional leadership. He also has a history of enhancing security systems and surveillance hardware for improved school safety. Additional experience includes analyzing student assessment data and “effectively communicating insights to administration, teachers, staff, and parents to improve student learning outcomes,” the school district shared.
“Dan‘s expertise will be instrumental in advancing our STEM initiative and continually improving vertical alignment from PK-12. His commitment to creating an encouraging atmosphere, along with his collaborative approach with teachers, staff, and administration, will drive innovative and future-focused education, making him a valuable addition to our team,” the school district added. “The District is excited to bring an IT professional with Dan’s wealth of experience and expertise to this important role.”
