— In the wake of the startling announcement by President Obama of renewed diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Cuba, Sugar Loaf photographer Nick Zungoli’s current exhibit on Cuba is drawing much more interest.

“In the last several days I’ve sold out of copies of the book published to accompany the exhibit," Zungoli said.

The exhibit, “Forbidden Fruit” opened this past summer and was slated to end in December, but with the new interest has been extended to Jan. 31. Zungoli is best know for his Hudson Valley landscapes and the giant mural he produced for Stewart International airport.

Nick Zungoli’s Exposures Gallery is open every day until Christmas, 11 to 5.

The exhibit “Forbidden Fruit” is free and open to the public.
