CJH Students of the Month are respectful, committed to success

— The C.J. Hooker Middle School has named its Students of the Month for September.
Read what teachers have to say about the honorees in Grade 6:
Grant MooreGrant has demonstrated what a great leader he is to his peers. He is kind to everyone. He comes to class prepared and ready to learn. He displays a positive attitude towards school. He works hard to strive for good grades. He has made an excellent transition to CJH.
Aidan DiglioAidan is an outstanding young adult. He is a mature and responsible student. His teachers and fellow students appreciate his positive attitude and consideration for others.
Vincent O’HaraVincent has made the transition to middle school look easy. He has a positive attitude and takes his school work seriously. Vincent is considerate and very willing to step up and help his fellow classmates.
Max MorenoMax is a hard worker who brightens up every room he is in. He is a good friend and ready to share with his classmates. He has worked very hard to adjust to the middle school routine.
Christian SoberalSpecial Areas: Christian is a very enthusiastic student. He is very attentive and helpful as well as very musically talented. He is extremely deserving of this recognition.
 
Here are the honored students from Grade 7:
Leangie JimenezLeangie is a new student this year, but you wouldn’t know it. She is adjusting quite well to her new school environment. Leangie is polite, friendly, and kind to her classmates and teachers. She offers to help other students, tries her best in class, and has a positive attitude. We are very lucky to have her this year.
Abigail MeyerAlready this year, Abigail has shown a thoughtful and patient nature to both her peers and teachers. She is well-behaved, respectful and considerate to those around her. These characteristics help make our classroom places we want to learn! Thanks Abby, and keep up the good work!
Lukas RogersLukas is a kind and friendly young man. He loves to tell jokes and share his stories with everyone. Lukas is always willing to help and comes to class with a smile.
Gabriella AlfieriSpecial Areas: Gabriella began the year strong. She has been offering useful feedback during discussion and critiques. She spends a lot of time and energy working on her art and utilizes constructive criticism to improve. She often helps those around her who maybe struggling to understand concepts and techniques. Overall, she has gone above and beyond and it shows in the class.
 
And the honored students from Grade 8 are:
Avaree FreibergerAvaree is an excellent addition to all of her classes. She is a highly conscientious student who is always well prepared. She is ambitious, but gracious, resulting in many other students seeking her out as a partner. Avaree demonstrates a positive attitude and brightens up the day with her infectious smile.
Courtney LewisCourtney always comes to class with a positive attitude and a readiness to learn. She works well with her classmates, contributes to class discussion, is respectful towards her teachers and peers, and always willing to lend a helping hand to others.
Drew RodriguesDrew is a friendly and outgoing student who always smiles and converses with his teachers. He is a great role model to his peers, as he is consistently prepared for class, actively participates, and always strives to do his best.
Christina DiorioSpecial Areas: Christina shows a natural ability for engineering and problem solving. She actively participates, works well with others, and is very deserving of this recognition.
