In honor of local veterans, the Chester Girl Scouts baked cookies and made cards expressing their appreciation. The Girl Scouts then joined the local Boy Scouts and other community members to honor those who served at Chester’s Veterans Day ceremony on Monday. After the ceremony, the scouts distributed their goods to the veterans on hand.
