Chester. Historical Society to host annual meeting and election via Zoom on Jan. 16

This year, instead of meeting in person, the Chester Historical Society will hold its annual meeting and election of officers on Zoom on Saturday, Jan. 16, beginning at 2 p.m.

This will be followed by a Zoom presentation on the Maple Avenue school by Amy Barnes. Barnes Amy the Maple Avenue school and her mother also taught there.

Email the Chester Historical Society at chester_histoical@mac.com (don’t forget the underscore character) to register to participate by computer or phone.

A few days before the meeting you will be sent an email with a link to click on to join the Zoom meeting on Jan. 16 at 2 p.m.

Once the Zoom screen comes up, make sure you click on audio, so you can be heard.

If you don’t have it already, you can download the free Zoom app from the Google Play store beforehand.
