The Chester Board of Education was recently honored with beautiful collaborative paintings by Chester Elementary School Pre-K – Grade 5 art students in celebration of School Board Recognition Week.
Each of the paintings were created collectively by all CES students in their respective grade levels under the direction of art teacher Emily Daunicht.
Chester Academy students also honored Chester Board members with their own creations. Chester Academy Home and Careers teacher Crisseda Besson’s Advanced Foods students provided the board with sumptuous and savory charcuterie and dessert boards prior to their Oct. 27 Board of Education meeting.
In addition, Chester Academy technology education teacher Jeffrey Rodman’s Civil Engineering and Mechatronics classes created customized laser cut coasters and wooden nameplates for each board member which will be used at all future board meetings.
Thank you, Chester Board of Education members, for all you do for the community.
