Goshen. Hanukkah is coming! Chabad Hebrew School in Goshen has started off the season of gifts and gelt by thinking about others. This year the children wrote kind cards for an elderly Holocaust survivor who lives on Long Island and does not have much family. And the children also created adorable travel menorahs because this year Konikov falls out on school vacation. Many children will be visiting family, friends, and exotic places, and can take their teeny travel menorahs in a tin box with magnet candles they can just remove and use. Chabad Hebrew School is run by Rabbi Meir and Rivkie Borenstein. For more information visit chabadoc.com.
