Village of Chester Historian Aaron Lefkowitz recently announced an upcoming service to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the appointment of Henry Wisner as the community representative to the First Continental Congress.
The service will be held September 7 at 11 a.m. at the historic Yelverton Inn, located on Main Street across from Main Street Pizza in Chester. The event is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be served.
