Calling for volunteers: Kiwanis Club of Chester Annual Spring Cleanup Day

The Chester Kiwanis is holding their annual Town Cleanup on Saturday, April 23, when volunteers clean up various locations and roadsides in the Village and Town of Chester. Volunteers gather at Wendy’s around 8:45 a.m. and cleanup begins at 9:00 a.m., expected to finish between 11:00 and 11:30 a.m. Help for even one to two hours is encouraged.

Wear sturdy, closed-toe sneakers or boots. Bring work gloves if you have them; otherwise all supplies are provided. All are welcome. Students needing volunteer hours (Key Club, Builders Club, National Honor Society, Junior Honor Society) are encouraged to attend. Young children must be accompanied by an adult.

Date: Saturday – April 23, 2022

Start Time: 9:00 a.m. (arrive by 8:45)

Start Location: Shop Rite Plaza Mall next to Wendy’s

Finish Time: 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch
