Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
"We are more than cookie sales," says Emily Collado, district leader of the Goshen Sarah Wells Girl Scouts. "Scouts are our future leaders! Through fun activities in a safe space we teach our girls life skills, respect for nature, entrepreneurship, and STEAM. Girl Scouts become part of an inclusive and powerful sisterhood that will last far into their futures.
"Our girls need leadership. Volunteering to be a troop leader is very rewarding and you don't need to have scout experience to be successful. Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson offers new leaders a tremendous amount of support in getting started."
The Goshen Sarah Wells Girl Scout troop now has open enrollment for 2019-20. To sign up, scouts and adult volunteer leaders may visit girlscoutshh.org.
