This year's Goshen ornament pays homage to new library
Goshen. Linda Mabie of Linda’s Office Supplies & Gifts loves the new library and wanted to commemorate it the same year it opened.
'Tis the season for a new Goshen ornament from Linda’s Office Supplies & Gifts.
The year’s ornament pays tribute to the brand-new Goshen Public Library and Historical Society. A portion of the proceeds from its sale will be donated to the library.
The glass ornament is hand-made in Ecuador, so each is one-of-a-kind.
“I love the new Goshen library and all that is has to offer the residents of our town," says shop owner Linda Mabie. "What a beautiful new space for the community to enjoy."
Mabie loves to read, and was very excited about the new library being built. She knew she wanted to commemorate the library in the same year it opened.
"I hope the money we raise will help go towards new programming that the library offers," she said. "I really enjoy giving back to the community that has supported me for 32 years in business. It is why I keep doing this every year."
The ornament sells fast, she said, so stop in to get yours while supplies last. Linda’s Office Supplies is located at 22 West Main St. in Goshen.
This is the seventh year that Linda’s has held its ornament sale. Previous ornaments featured Goshen landmarks like the old library, the First Presbyterian Church, town hall, village hall, the Harness Racing Museum, and the historic train station.
