Thomas Roe Conklin

Thomas Roe Conklin of New Hampton, N.Y., entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 1, 2019. He was 55.
Tom was born on Feb. 26, 1964, son of Edward Ariel Conklin and Marilyn Stavens Conklin of Pine Hill Farm in Chester, N.Y.
Tom spent his youth on Pine Hill Farm and married local farmer’s daughter, Cathy Tomaszewski Conklin of New Hampton, N.Y. They lived near her family and farmed for many years in New Hampton with their two sons, William Roe and Carl.
Tom was a beloved and cherished son, a dear friend, and an adored husband and father. He will be missed by all who worked with him, played with him, knew him, and shared life with him.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy; sons, William and girlfriend Jessica Harris, and Carl; stepson, John Pierce; father and mother, Edward and Marilyn; sister, Dolly Conklin Andalis and her husband, Marc; sister, Sue Mackenzie Conklin, and her children, Phoebe and Jack.
A memorial service was held at Pine Hill Farm on July 21 for family, friends, and community members who loved Tom.
