Thomas H. Lynch of New Hampton, a lifelong resident of the Town of Wawayanda, entered into rest on Monday, May 10, 2021, at Kaplan Family Hospice in Newburgh. He was 87.

The son of Howard Lynch and Gladys Thompson Lynch, he was born on May 22, 1933, in Middletown.

He was a graduate of Goshen High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Tom was a Life Member of the Middletown Elks Club; manager and player in the Middletown Fast Pitch Softball League. He was a manager of Warren’s Turf Nursery for 27 years and quite often drove Jimmy Sturr’s tour bus. He was also an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s fan.

He is survived by his wife Mona Pellew Lynch; son Dale Lynch; daughter Shari Lain (Chip); son Richard Lynch (Terry); and son Craig Lynch (Glenda); grandchildren: Kelsey Gurda (Brandon); Clarinda Illanovsky (Johnny); Amanda, Morgan and Bailey Lynch; four great grandsons; brothers Gary and Bobby Lynch; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister Janet McGarry and brother Edward Lynch.

Graveside services were held May 13th at Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen.
