Robert Dolan of Monroe passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021. He was 98 years old.
The son of Bertha (Renaud) and Charles Dolan, he was born on March 13, 1923, in Far Rockaway.
Robert was a retired foreman for the Village of Monroe Highway Department in Monroe.
He proudly served in the United States Army from 1943 to 1946 and bravely fought in World War II.
Robert is survived by his daughter Alice Dolan of Goshen; five grandchildren: Christine, Janet, Barbara, Edward and Robert; and by to five great-grandchildren: Robert, Matthew, Diane, Leia and Denton. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his wife Marie (Reyns) Dolan and by his brother and sister-in-law Stanley and Hilda Dolan.
Visitation and chapel services were held May 20 at Smith, Seaman, and Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
Interment followed at St. Columba Cemetery in Chester.
