Gerhard “Jerry” Schiller of Monroe passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, at Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. He was 85 years old.
The son of Hans P. Schiller and Margaret S. Muller Schiller, Jerry was born on Nov. 21, 1935, in Berlin, Germany. He was the widower of Ursula Langfeld Schiller.
Jerry was a retired Tool & Die Maker for I.B.M. Corporation in Fishkill and a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his longtime buddies Ray and George.
Survivors include his brother Horst Schiller of Chester; three grandsons: Christopher Perrillo, Adam St. Denis and Shawn St. Denis; five great-grandchildren: Michael, Victoria, Alex, Jason and Charlie; and two nephews: Ben Schiller and Don Schiller. He was predeceased by his daughter Sonja St. Denis and grandson Brian Perrillo.

A graveside service took place at Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Goshen.
