Donna Musumeci departed this world from her Nevada home on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021.
After growing up in Chester, N.Y., she relocated to Las Vegas where most of her professional life was devoted to helping others.
Although encouraged by some to seek a career in modeling, she instead earned an MS from the University of Nevada in Counseling and Educational Psychology and became a child and family counselor, teacher and eventually a preschool administrator for the Nevada State Department of Mental Health’s Division of Behavioral Sciences.
Besides her talent as a counselor, she had a lifelong appreciation for art, fashion and bringing beauty into her home.
She is predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Marjorie Musumeci, and is survived by her only sister, Helen, of New Paltz, N.Y.
A memorial service will be held in the spring.
Donna’s kind, tender-hearted soul will be dearly missed. Donations may be made to MS society: https://www.nationalmssociety.org/Chapters/UTU/About-this-Chapter/Locations
