Arne Joseph Jensen of Goshen entered into rest unexpectedly Monday, Feb. 1, 2021. He was 56 years old.
Arne was born May 6, 1964, at Horton Hospital in Middletown.
He was predeceased by his parents, William and Shirley Jensen (Meduski), and Uncle Richie Meduski.
He is survived by his brother Jack Jensen of Goshen; his girlfriend Jackie Fiumara; many cousins and extended family.
He loved his family and enjoyed all gatherings. He was a lifelong Goshen resident, who graduated from Goshen High school in 1982 where he excelled in sports playing football, ski team and golf.
He was a 30-plus year member of the Goshen Al Turi Golf League, winning the Bill Lotze Memorial Trophy seven times. He was a tremendous golfer who had the skills to short low scores.
Arne owned his own painting business, AJ Painting and Powerwashing, and he liked to help people out.
He liked to paint at the Historic Track.
He liked to be around people and he lived his life to the fullest on his own terms. He will be missed dearly and leaves us with many good memories. He was a true friend to many.
Visitation was held Feb. 9 at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church St., Goshen.
A celebration of his life event will be held at a later date, hopefully in the summer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Arne’s name to St. John’s Church in Goshen.
