Fort Montgomery Site Manager Grant Miller will discuss the history of the fort from its founding in Feb. 1777 to its current status as a historic site at a free event sponsored by Chester Historical Society on Nov. 6, 2-3 p.m. The program will be on the lower level of the Chester Public Library, 1784 Kings Highway, Chester, NY. Light refreshments will be served.
