In what has become something of an annual tradition, Brookside Family Dentistry is offering free dental services to military veterans on Thursday, Nov. 9, at their office in Chester.
“We held our first Free Dental Day for Veterans seven or eight years ago and over the past four or five years we have had about 40 to 50 veterans come in each time for things such as free cleanings, exams, fillings and tooth extractions,” said Kaelyn Kettenring, who works as a scheduling coordinator at Brookside.
The day, which kicks off at 9 a.m. and wraps up at 5 p.m., includes donations from several other local businesses in the form of bagels from Bagel Girls, coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts and gift bags with gift and discount cards from The Castle, Chester Ice Cream, Halligan’s Public House, Hambletonian Auto Spa and Kelley Jean’s Restaurant.
“One of the core values that our office manager Melissa Barrett and owner Dr. Jordan Siegel have instilled in our team is helping the community and giving back to our veterans is one of the many ways we do that,” Kettenring said.
Appointments are filling up fast, so interested parties are asked to call 845-469-4444 as soon as possible. Brookside Family Dentistry is located at 49 Brookside Ave. in Chester.
