Goshen. The Academy of Film Television Stage and Performing Arts is offering a on-hour introductory Sanford Meisner Acting Workshop.
The Academy of Film Television Stage and Performing Arts, Inc., will host a one-hour introductory Sanford Meisner Acting Workshop. Learn the acting method studied by many Academy Award-winners.
Level 1 Modern Meisner one-hour introductory Acting Workshop will be held on Saturday, Dec. 18, at 11 a.m.
This informational workshop will be held at Colab, 45 St. John St., Goshen. It will cover methods taught by Sanford Meisner, founder of The Neighborhood Playhouse in Manhattan as interpreted and expanded upon by David Patrick Wilson, master actor, writer, producer, director, singer and songwriter.
Classes are available for those students interested in participating in professional training in the performing arts. The academy currently offers acting classes in the Sanford Meisner Acting Technique and Voice classes in the Seth Riggs Method of “SLS” (Speech Level Singing).
Cost for this workshop is $35.
