Leslie Smith's "spider web girl guitar" is back, spotted by Chronicle reporter Ginny Privitar, who wrote an article about its disappearance from a speed sign near the insurance office Smith owns with Clif Patrick at 119 Brookside Avenue in Chester. The painted guitar-shaped wooden cut-out advertises the downtown Chester Summer Music Series. Upon hearing about its reappearance, Patrick went out to see for himself and took the photo above. No one knows why or how the guitar was taken and returned. For now it's a Chester mystery.
