HONOR to celebrate the season with tree lighting
Middletown. HONOR provides temporary housing for men, women, families and children, striving to maintain a sense of normalcy and dignity for their clients.
HONOR will once again usher in the holiday season with itsannual tree lighting from 4:30 to 5 p.m. on Friday Dec. 6, at their Middletown shelter located at 38 Seward Avenue.

The tree lighting will feature caroling and music by Mike Mack of The HYPE, a special story time with Orange County Chamber of Commerce President Lynn Allen Cione, snacks prepared for the residents by local celebrity chefs, and special guests from Legoland New York Resort.
To help the families living at HONOR, the public is asked to bring donations of unwrapped toys for HONOR residents to select and wrap for their children this holiday season. Donations of wrapping paper would also be appreciated.
“As we enter a new holiday season, we at HONOR are so pleased to share the spirit and magic of this time of year with all our community supporters, family and friends. It is our intention to provide a memorable holiday season for all!” said Chris Molinelli, executive director.
HONOR provides temporary housing through their homeless and runaway shelters as well as many other support services including food pantries, residential recovery programs, case management, housing projects and vocational programs.
