Goshen Christmas House Tour to aid Catholic Charities
GOSHEN — Get an inside look at festive Christmas finery in eight private homes in the greater Goshen area.
Catholic Charities Community Services of Orange and Sullivan will kick off the holiday season with its third annual Goshen Christmas House Tour on Saturday, Dec. 2.
“Catholic Charities is exceptionally grateful to the homeowners who put so much effort into beautifully decorating their homes with their holiday finest, and invite our guests inside to help raise much-needed funds to support our mission to provide help and create hope,” said Susan Murray-Tetz, Christmas House Tour Committee Chairperson and Catholic Charities board member. "The Goshen Christmas House Tour is a great community day full of fun, friends, and festivities — all for a good cause."
If you goTickets are $40 when purchased by Nov. 27, and $45 after the deadline and on the day of the event.
Homes will be open to ticketed visitors from 1 to 5 p.m. for self-guided tours. All proceeds will go directly toward Catholic Charities’ anti-poverty programs, which help the neediest residents of Orange and Sullivan counties.
Check-in will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame, 240 Main St., Goshen. Guests will receive their map, guidebook, and pass. Live music, light refreshments, and restroom facilities will also be available at check-in. In the event of snow, the tour will be held on Sunday, Dec. 3.
