Chester. A conversation with Ann Van Hine, her experience navigating 9/11 and personal loss

The Chester Public Library will host a conversation with Ann Van Hine, the author of “Pieces Falling: Navigating 9/11 With Faith, Family, and the FDNY,” on Tuesday, Sept. 7, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Van Hine was born in Oxford, England, but grew up in Oklahoma, Utah, Arizona, New Jersey and now lives in Brooklyn.

She is the mom of two grown daughters, the widow of FDNY firefighter Bruce Van Hine, a small business owner, a docent with the 9/11 Tribute Museum, published writer, Children’s Ministries volunteer and a breast cancer survivor.

Since Sept. 11, 2001, Van Hine has had numerous opportunities to share her personal story of loss in the midst of a national tragedy. She has shared her story all over the USA and internationally.

Her story will be included in an upcoming Netflix documentary series.
