This week the region is alive with a diverse lineup of musical performances, catering to all tastes. From Saturday’s energetic shows to special Father’s Day celebrations on Sunday, there’s plenty to enjoy for music enthusiasts and families alike.
Saturday, June 15
At 2 p.m. at the Last Whisky Bar (45 Woodlands Way, Warwick), the Pete McDonald Trio will perform jazzy selections while Alyssa Goldstein delivers a soulful vocal and acoustic performance at the Applewood Winery (82 4 Corners Rd., Warwick).
Apple Dave’s (82 4 Corners Rd.), brings you a special multi-genre performance by Jennie Colabatistto at 2 p.m., and JP Conques delivers pop, country, and classic rock tunes at Clearview Vineyard (35 Clearview Ln., Warwick). At the Warwick Valley Winery, Distillery, and Orchard (114 Little York Rd., Warwick), the Allman Brothers Tribute Band, Peach Project, will also take the stage at 2 p.m.
At 5 p.m., visit Pennings Farm Cidery (4 Warwick Turnpike, Warwick) for another night of their Cidery Sunset Series featuring the MissyPing Band with a $10 cover charge that will include one cider or beer. The Good The Bad & the Ugly take their talents to the Orange County Distillery at Brown Barn Farms (286 Maple Ave., New Hampton), at 6 p.m., and at 7 p.m. One Swift Kick will bring their classic rock covers to the Last Whisky Bar. The Andrea Niles Band will bring their melodies to the Pine Island Tap House (682 County Rd 1 Suite B, Pine island) at 7 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. the NY Wind Symphony will deliver a captivating performance on Warwick’s Railroad Green!
Or, if you’re looking to dance the night away with a nostalgic vibe, head to an 80s-decorated Mattingly’s Tavern (16 N Main St., Florida) at 9 p.m., for their Ladies 80s Night hosted by DJ Mike.
Sunday, June 16
There are so many special Father’s Day performances to enjoy across town on Sunday. At 1 p.m. at the Edenville General Store (240 Pine Island Turnpike, Warwick), enjoy their Songwriter Showcase or show off your own talents. The Cove Castle Restaurant, (13 Castle Ct., Greenwood Lake), will welcome Jeremy Langdale at 1 p.m. or enjoy The Holmes and McDonough acoustic duo at Orange County Distillery at Brown Barn Farms at the same time.
At 2 p.m. enjoy a plethora of performances! Devin Daversa will bring his singer-songwriter tunes to the Pennings Farm Market Beer Garden (161 Route 94 S., Warwick), Vinyl Tap will rock out at Tin Barn Brewing (62 Kings Hwy Bypass, Chester), and Hillbilly Parade deliver country classics to the Pine Island Tap House.
At Applewood Winery, enjoy a set by John Sheehan solo, catch a funky show by Jungle Love at Tin Barn Brewing, hear Vera and The Force at Warwick Winery, or see the popular duo Midnight Slim & Laurie Anne for their selection of R&B, classic rock, and country. Kicking off at 3 p.m., the Arborline bring their folk-infused tunes to the Last Whisky Bar, or hear Rave Tesar at the Trail’s End Taphouse at GWL Garden Market (1197 Rte. 17A, Greenwood Lake).
Wednesday, June 19
Get your classic car ready for another night of Danny C’s Hod Rod Cruise Night & Summer Concert Series at Blue Arrow Farm (86 Glenwood Rd., Pine Island) featuring a performance by Carnaby Street playing tunes from the Beatles to the Stones and more starting at 4 p.m.
At 7 p.m. honor the Juneteenth holiday by enjoying A Groove-Port Jazz Series Concert: Blue Hearts Jazz Quartet at the UpFront Exhibition Space (31 Jersey Ave, Port Jervis). The quartet will be swingin’ and boppin’ to classic jazz selections by African American composers, featuring Myles Lino on tenor sax, Darius Beckford on piano, Alfonso Ramos on upright bass, and Kim Peralta on drums. This is a BYOB event.
And for a laid-back acoustic jam night, head to Trail’s End Taphouse at 7 p.m.
Thursday, June 20
Starting at 6 p.m., celebrate the first day of summer with live music at the Trail’s End Taphouse, or stop by Coquito (31 Forester Ave., Warwick), for Johnny D’s LIVE Music Night featuring a performance by Shoot The Moon (previously Grapefruit Moon)!
At 7 p.m., the Missyping Trio returns to the Last Whisky Bar and metal fans will not want to miss metal night at Mattingly’s Tavern, featuring Earthquake Logic, World’s Demise, and Burn the Ships.
Friday, June 21
The Jackson & Johnson Trio will be on the Pennings Farm Market Beer Garden stage starting at 6 p.m., while Nailed Shutt brings their jam-based tunes to Trail’s End Taphouse. At 6 p.m. at Double S Smokehouse (49 Oakland Ave., Warwick) Rich Franco delivers his acoustic favorites and at 7 p.m. at the Last Whisky Bar, Oragami performs.
At 7 p.m. Patrick Perone, as the king of rock and roll, will treat the audience at Pine Island Tap House to his Elvis tribute performance and at Blue Arrow Farm, New York blues legend Junior Mack will perform. Tickets can be purchased at bluearrowfarm.com. Starting at 8:30 p.m. at Barrel 28 (28 N Main St., Florida) Flirtin’ with Disaster takes over with their classic rock, hard rock, and pop covers.
