Pius XII alumni invited to a celebration of friendship

CHESTER — Pius XII School alumni and staff will reunite at a celebration to be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Bruderhof Community of Bellvale, 359 Gibson Hill Rd., Chester.
Friends, alumni, staff, and community members are invited to join this celebration of friendship, renewal, gratitude.
"Refreshments, hospitality and welcoming are once again provided by our lifetime friends in mission and purpose," says the invitation.
The NYS Office of Children and Family Services contracted with Pius XII Youth and Family Services to provide youth designated by the courts as juvenile delinquents and persons in need of supervision with care, treatment, education, rehabilitation, and guidance at its two residential facilities, the Holy Cross campus in Rhinecliff and the Chester campus. Both closed in the early 2000s.
